Traffic sign F41: Diversion

The F41 sign shows the diversion when a road is closed. There are versions for all traffic, for cyclists and for pedestrians, with an arrow pointing left, right or straight ahead. Put one at every junction along the diversion so nobody gets lost.

Information signs are rectangular and give information: a diversion, a dead end, the end of roadworks. At roadworks they point out the detour and close off the works zone.

Anyone who puts up a traffic sign on the public road for works needs the consent of the road authority: through the occupation permit or through a signage permit with a signage plan. Without that consent you may not put up the sign.
