Traffic sign F47: End of roadworks

The F47 sign marks the end of roadworks. It closes the works zone that began with the A31 sign, and the C46 sign often stands with it to lift the site speed limit and no-overtaking rule.

Information signs are rectangular and give information: a diversion, a dead end, the end of roadworks. At roadworks they point out the detour and close off the works zone.

Anyone who puts up a traffic sign on the public road for works needs the consent of the road authority: through the occupation permit or through a signage permit with a signage plan. Without that consent you may not put up the sign.
