Traffic sign C31b: No right turn

The C31b sign forbids turning right at the next junction. At roadworks it keeps traffic from turning into a closed side street.

Prohibitory signs are round with a red border. They forbid something: a direction, access, overtaking, driving faster than a set speed. At roadworks they close a street or a footpath, or limit the speed along the site.

Anyone who puts up a traffic sign on the public road for works needs the consent of the road authority: through the occupation permit or through a signage permit with a signage plan. Without that consent you may not put up the sign.
