Stopping and parking signs: what you need to know

These signs regulate stopping and parking. They apply on the side of the road where they stand, from the sign up to the next junction, on the carriageway and on the verge. Additional panels mark the start and end of the zone, and an inscription can state the period (Highway Code, art. 70). For a move, a skip or a worksite, these are the signs of a temporary parking ban.

Do you need a permit?

Yes. A temporary parking ban on the public road may only be put up with a permit from the municipality to occupy the public domain. Apply in time: the signs usually have to be in place at least 48 hours in advance. If you are a professional, we can handle the application for you.
