Applying for a no-parking zone for your move or construction site
For a move, a delivery or a construction site, you reserve a parking space with a temporary no-parking zone. You apply for the public domain occupancy permit with the municipality (via EagleBE, Spotbooking or the occupancy form) and put up E1/E3 no-parking signs in good time. Expect a processing time of a few working days.

Do you want to be sure of a free space for your removal van, crane or site zone? Then you apply for a temporary no-parking zone. Here is how to do it properly.
How does a temporary no-parking zone work?
You reserve the parking space(s) through a public domain occupancy permit with the municipality. Once approved, you put up no-parking signs (E1 or E3) with the correct supplementary panels and the start and end date. The signs usually have to be in place a number of days beforehand, so that parked cars can be moved away in time.
Which signs do you need?
- E1: no parking, or E3: no parking and no stopping.
- Supplementary panels showing the zone and the period of validity.
- When the roadway is occupied, sometimes extra signage such as arrows with flashing lights (D1c/D1d).
